TWO FUNERALS AND A FREEZER

After an unnerving discovery in their garage freezer, two twins find themselves on a journey of self exploration, family secrets and of course, a couple funerals.

Jake Westby is a hardworking and dedicated production professional who has a proven track record of success in the industry. He was brought on to the production for "Two Funerals and a Freezer" as a production assistant, but by the time filming was finished, he had earned himself an associate producer credit. Despite the many obstacles that arose during the production, including locations dropping, staff bowing out, an extremely packed schedule, COVID-19 protocols, an on-set injury, and even a Viking funeral, Jake was able to navigate these challenges with skill and determination. He was able to work on a 5-day schedule for a 26-page shoot and helped to ensure that the production was completed on time and on budget. He also helped facilitate film festival submissions and due to his hard work and dedication, he was asked back for future productions from the producers and he was even given the opportunity to work with Lucasfilm. Jake's ability to adapt and rise to the challenges of the production is a testament to his experience, work ethic, and professionalism.

In addition to his role as Unit Production Manager, Jake also played an important role in capturing the behind-the-scenes moments of the production. He took photographs throughout the entire filming process, capturing candid moments of the cast and crew at work. Jake also used these photographs to construct the one sheet seen above, which was used in the promotion and advertising of the film, as well as in submissions to film festivals. This one sheet served as an effective visual representation of the film and helped to generate interest and excitement about the project. Jake's attention to detail and dedication to capturing the behind-the-scenes elements of the production helped to further enhance the overall success of the film.
